Covid 19 is surely changing numbers, as the lockdown has extended further, people seem to have a fine reason to be online all the time. Facts like these will make people understand better how being digitally equipped for their business is one of the best things they can do, especially during this lockdown.

Now let us begin with those famous digital entertainment platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar etc who are gaining a lot of fresh viewers apart from the already existing ones during this lockdown, people are streaming shows, movies, TV serials and so on. With ample time available after the working hours as people can’t get out of their houses they choose to sit back relax and enjoy watching some of their favorite shows.

During this tough time of social distancing how can one forget the social media platforms like instagram, facebook, whatsapp, twitter, snapchat etc, these apps are constantly being used and viewed by people for entertainment and also to know more about what is going on and in order to stay updated regarding covid 19. Though they should be aware of what is real and what is fake while spreading the news. These social media platforms can now be used to run campaigns with various objectives like branding, website traffic, lead generation to name a few.

Online learning platforms like Udemy, Coursera, Upgrad, Skillshare, Edx, Future Learn and many more are bringing in online courses from a wide range of variety for the people who want to enhance their skill sets, knowledge and who want an added advantage during this period of lockdown. It is not that these courses or websites were not available before, it is the extra time which people are getting and they are utilising it by accessing the online learning websites. There is a huge rise in the number of free courses available too.

Digital businesses were already in good numbers even before this pandemic, but now as the situation is being understood and further predicted it is better that each and every business learns the tactics of digital marketing and try to reach their target audience by being digitally active and present all the time. It is only those businesses who are online and reachable right now are able to be in touch with their customers.

Digitally active businesses know, where and how people are spending time online and they are putting forward their creative content accordingly. For example putting podcasts on Spotify or a quick advertisement on Instagram giving a brief about the service or just the latest update is making a positive change for the digital businesses.
